Invited by the Center for Engineering Education Innovation, Dr Trevor Lane from Edanz Group visited the University and gave a lecture on “How to Critically Read Research Papers and Conduct Peer Review for International Journals”. Trevor is the Education Director and Senior Publishing Consultant of Edanz Group. He is also a council member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. Through this lecture Trevor gave the important tips on “how to efficiently read and critique research papers” as well as “how to effectively and ethically conduct peer review for English-language journals”. The lecture attracted research postgraduate students, research staff, and faculty members from ten engineering and non-engineering departments of the University.
