E2I hosted a number of lunch conversations over the 2011-12 academic year for participants to sit together and discuss education issues during their lunch break. In this event, postgraduate students were invited to discuss their working relationship with their research supervisors.
The postgraduate students were given nine real-life scenarios to discuss and practice the skills that would help improve their student-supervisor communication. Prof. Christopher Chao, Associate Dean of Engineering, also joined the conversation and shared with participants his advice from the faculty’s point of view.
