Undergraduate Student Resources

E2I Advisors

Undergraduate students seeking academic advising can speak to members of E2I's professional advising team. The advisors are based full-time in the Center to provide guidance and support for students on a range of academic issues from course enrollment to major selection.

For further enquiries please contact our Professional Advisors: Mr. Jac LEUNG, Ms. Jessica CHENG, Mr. Anthony TSANG, or Miss Catherine CHAN at 2358 5937/2358 8255, or come by their office on the 2/F in room 2581.

Faculty Advisors

When students join the School of Engineering, they are placed into one of nine “clans” whose members include a mix of local, mainland, and international first year engineering students, as well as upper-year peer mentors and faculty members. Faculty advisors will meet individually with each student throughout the year to discuss his/her academic interests, major preferences, and adjustment to university life.

Peer Mentoring Program

E2I’s peer mentoring program is designed to provide support and advice to first year School of Engineering students. In addition to facilitating peer mentoring sessions, the PMP also delivers a series of holistic student development workshops to enhance the student learning experience and development.

SAO Counselors

General student counseling by HKUST’s counselors is available through the Student Affairs Office.
